This would be an immediate start for the right person
You will be required to help out labouring as well as driving class 2
This role will be fulltime (Monday - Friday) commencing immediately

- Class 2 licence
- Experience driving trucks in New Zealand
- Physically fit and happy to labour
- Own transport to get to work on time

This will be an exciting permanent, fulltime position where you have chances to work with our friendly and amazing team members.

This studentship honours the legacy of the late Gary Coghlan, our
longest-serving General Manager in Hauora Māori on the West Coast. Gary was
deeply committed to workforce development and played a pivotal role in
establishing the Studentship Programme for Te Tai o Poutini. His vision was to
create meaningful opportunities for rangatahi to experience the realities and
rewards of working in rural health.

This role is part-time, with potential for future growth.

This position is based at Whakatane Hospital, a 60+ bed Level 2 hospital. This is predominantly an inpatient role but will include some elective work.

This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with proven leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of System Design Managers, ensuring their work is cohesive, clinically safe, financially viable, and aligned with national, regional, and local health priorities.
