This is not a "business as usual" administration role; we need a seasoned professional capable of supporting a diverse and high-pressure portfolio, including complex Business Transformation, Process Optimization, and Enterprise-wide initiatives.
This role offers a hybrid working model, requiring 3 days per week in our Auckland CBD office, providing the perfect balance of collaboration and flexibility.
The Portfolio: Complex, Diverse, and Critical
As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will be the engine room for multiple concurrent workstreams. You will navigate through ambiguity to ensure project hygiene is maintained across:
Enterprise Transformation: Supporting the shift in how the business operates at scale.
Process Modernization: Identifying bottlenecks and coordinating the roll-out of streamlined workflows.
Business-Critical Projects: Managing dependencies across various departments to ensure seamless delivery.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate:
Proven experience managing a portfolio of multiple enterprise-level projects simultaneously. You must be comfortable switching contexts rapidly between different project types.
A track record of supporting projects with high technical or organizational complexity, involving numerous stakeholders and tight interdependencies.
Advanced skills in project financials, RAID logs, resource tracking, and high-level reporting for executive steering committees.
Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience working within a Tier-1 or Tier-2 Bank. Why is Banking experience critical for this role? The enterprise projects you will support operate within a highly regulated environment. A background in banking ensures you already understand:
Strict Compliance & Governance

Portfolio Coordination: Maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans across multiple complex workstreams.
Reporting: Design and deliver high-quality status reports that provide "clarity at a glance" for Project Leads and Sponsors.
Financial Control: Manage project accruals, forecasting, and actuals tracking with high precision.
Meeting Facilitation: Coordinate and document key governance meetings, ensuring actions are tracked and closed out proactively.
Process Improvement: Support the Project Manager in refining project methodologies to increase delivery velocity.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 5+ years in a Senior Project Coordinator role within large-scale corporate environments.
Technical Savvy: Expert-level proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and Jira/Confluence.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills—you must be able to communicate confidently with senior leadership.
Resilience: The ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced, shifting environment.
