Are you a dynamic and experienced electrical leader ready for a significant career move?
We are seeking an Industrial Electrical Division Manager to join our client, a great company with deep-seated roots in the Reefton and West Coast region. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of the city and take on a strategic position within a well-established company known locally for its quality service.
As the Industrial Electrical Division Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our electrical division, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands on manager role that will require you to be on the tools.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing teams, developing and executing project plans, and driving operational excellence. You will enjoy seeing your team succeed as you come up with sales and marketing plans, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning and execution of electrical projects spanning across commercial, argicultural, industrial & residential.
Manage a small team of electricians.
Provide pricing and quotes to customers.
Create sales and marketing plans to maximise growth.
Be responsible for hiring and training of new staff.
Liaising directly with clients.
Invoicing all work.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Monitor and report on project progress, and make adjustments as needed.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Suitable electrical trade certification with hands-on electrical experience.
Solid communication and team working skills.
Proven track record of success in managing projects and teams.
Strong working knowledge of operations procedures.
Some knowledge of solar systems installations would be an advantage (Solar experience is a bonus, not essential).
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
