Job Description:
Join New Zealand’s official data agency whose purpose is to collect information from the people and organisations of New Zealand. They use this information to publish essential insights and data.
We are looking for Work from Home, Data Collection Specialists to join the contact centre team to conduct outbound phone-based surveys and field based work collecting essential data from the New Zealand public.
Start date: 15th August or 5th September 2022
Hours: 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8am – 9pm, Monday to Sunday
Training: Training will be conducted at their Auckland central office for the first three weeks
The role
Assist in conducting a critical outreach survey, to gather data from the New Zealand population
Outbound calling to New Zealanders, following a scripted process to gather the relevant information
Recording information accurately in the database with high attention to detail
Proactively building rapport with people over the phone and explaining the benefits to New Zealand if they do participate in the survey, to gain as much traction as possible
Visiting selected households to conduct face to face interviews and build relationships with the communities of Aotearoa
About you
You have excellent customer service skills and a strong phone manner
You excel in a high volume, fast paced customer service environments
You have the ability to deal with difficult or frustrated customers, and help to turn their day around!
You have a strong eye for detail, and can accurately record information
You are tech savvy and able to juggle multiple systems at once
You have a full licence and your own vehicle
