About the Role

As a Test Automation Engineer you will be responsible for delivering Test Automation practice internally within the Development Team. The Test Automation practice will be a key resource for the continued improvement and maturing of the Test Capability in order to meet ongoing demand and deadlines.

Your role will encompass all testing to ensure the quality of products produced by the client and its suppliers are of the highest standard, delivering technical solutions, driving and delivering test automation solutions, techniques and best practice methods to meet requirements for functional and non-functional testing.

Technical Development

● Promote test automation solutions to the development team(s)

● Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with these teams through the effective delivery of automation solutions

● Take an active interest in understanding the business benefits for Test Automation and the value-add potential to end


● Attend industry events and conferences for self-development, and report feedback and information on market trends.


● Deliver correct use of the test management process and test related processes, practices, standards, and policies

● Design and execute automated test scripts

● Delivery of robust, maintainable and stable test automation services against defined business Requirements and Designs

● Implement, manage and support testing automation frameworks

● Create Automation test plans and/or test approaches

● Engage in requirements review, grooming and clarifications
