Job Description:
One of New Zealand’s leading commercial interior fit out contractors now hiring a Site Manager to join their expanding team in Wellington. Do you have proven experience of leading on site delivery of high quality interior fit-out projects safely and on time? If so, don't miss the opportunity to join one of New Zealand's most successful Contractors specialising in interiors projects.
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate
5+ years demonstrable experience of working on interiors construction and/or refurbishment projects.
Strong personality with ability confidently represent your employer across multiple construction projects
Able to confidently navigate your way around sites and provide technical knowledge to the engineering and building teams
Excellent communication skills. You must be able to professionally and assertively convey communication to all involved
Effective Health & Safety knowledge
Proven ability in managing subcontractors
Collaborative and solution focussed attitude
Working as part of their Wellington based project delivery team, you will be responsible ensuring high quality interiors projects are delivered safely, to time and budget.
Key duties will include
Ensuring your site is managed to the highest Health & Safety standards
Managing interaction with Client, Project Manager and subcontractors
Reporting on project project to Project Manager
Anticipating and solving issues that may impact on programme
Providing day to day site leadership
Interacting collaboratively with all project partners
Managing material supply chain
Salary $110k - $130k negotiable according to experience.
