Job Description:
Our public sector client is looking for a Senior Programme Coodinator to join their growing programme team. This 3-month contract offers the chosen candidate the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects.
Core duties will include
ensure work programme priorities are met and kept on track, through continuous review of timelines and programmes/projects, communications and evidence-based prioritisation
supporting the Manager to ensure work programme priorities are met through implementation of effective programme and project management methods and toolsets
ensure all project documentation is maintained, is accurate, up-to-date, timely and informative
providing secretariat services for programme governance and advisory/steering groups as required
facilitate resources allocation discussions with the manager to ensure highest priority work progresses
lead development and delivery of detailed project planning documentation including project plans, project milestones, schedule, budgets, registers and forecasts
managing processes associated with any commissioned research contracts
organising travel arrangements and meeting support (including preparing agenda, minute-taking and action follow up)
collating risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and lessons learnt registers
supporting financial-related processes, diary and document management, and other tasks as reasonably required
supporting projects and staff by ensuring coordination and tracking of the project using version control (briefs, business case, plans, schedules etc.)
