Experienced Digger Operators
South Pacific Timber is New Zealand's leading supplier of specialist timber and building materials. Due to continued growth they are seeking a Key Account Sales Representative to join their Sales Team based in their new premise in Mount Roskill.
Reporting to the General Manager and working alongside the wider Sales Team, you will drive sales success, develop and grow key customer relationships and provide an exceptional level of service at all times.
This is a 'hands on' role and a typical day will involve you assisting with telesales and in the showroom, servicing existing customers and identifying new business, providing speciality advice to customers, and providing technical advice to the team and valued customers.
The hours for this permanent role are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Identify new business opportunities
Develop relationships with prospective clients
Manage the sales process from start to finish
Provide exceptional customer service to customers via email, face to face and over the phone
Maintain existing client relationships by providing support, product info, availability, pricing, lead times and guidance
Key in sales orders and quotations
Skills and experience
Sales experience gained in a B2B environment
Technical and building products knowledge
Down to earth and solutions-based approach
Proven sales methodology
Strong communication skills
Work directly with the business owners
