Job Description:
OneStaff is seeking a motivated candidate for a temp to perm vacancy operating a checkpoint for logging trucks en route to Lyttleton port in the Hillsborough area.
Our client is a leading provider of logistics to the logging industry and have been in the industry for over 65 years.
This is a temp to perm role with the opportunity for further training into operating loaders and telehandlers.
This role involves
Operating a checkpoint for logging trucks arriving at Lyttleton port
Grading & tagging logs
Accurately measuring & recording loads to be entered into the system
Starting rate: $22.00 p/hr
Work times: 5:30am - 3:30pm
You will need
Restricted drivers licence minimum
Pass a pre-employment drug test
NB: This is physical role and will require you to be on your feet for much the day.
