Our client is a well-established New Zealand based Power Generation and Heavy Industrial Maintenance company focusing on the operation, maintenance, major overhaul and strip down of the rotating equipment with a wealth of experience in steam turbine/generator overhauls.
Join a team that has extensive experience in servicing plant for the electricity, mining, fertiliser, forestry, dairy, refining and pulp & paper industries.
About the role
Join the newly established office in Rotorua a s a key member of the team. As the Instrumentation and Control Engineer you will be providing sound technical support to on the major rotating plant overhauls. You will be responsible for safe inspection and maintenance, performing regular preventative and predictive maintenance checks on site instrumentation and control systems.
5+ years plant control and instrumentation experience
Experience with electric power industry plants
Ability to work away from the region
Engineering or technician qualification
You can communicate in a clear, confident, and articulate manner
Newly established office in Rotorua.Ideally applicants will have their home Rotorua or in the Bay of Plenty area or be prepared to relocate but other locations in the central North Island will be considered.
