Head offices are currently based in Albany however highly likely to be moving to Mount Wellington soon

About the Role

Reporting into the Head of Sales (based on Australia) with a dotted line to the GM NZ, plus a BDM managing the South Island this role is responsible to manage North Island territory of existing customers.

This role is tasked to exceed clients’ needs for the merchandising ultimately to manage key accounts, drive sales and increase revenue in this growing the category.

Calling in on existing customers that vary in size, plus RFP/Tenders and contracts. This role requires someone to understand the needs and drivers of their clients and provide competitive and cost- effective solutions alongside excellent service. This role is heavily weighted towards account management, with the ability to see opportunities within these businesses from time to time.

This role requires an excellent attitude and relationship management skills talking to a wide range of customers and key suppliers supplying clients with the best and most innovative products that meet their needs.

This role requires excellent project management skills and an understanding on how to interpret data/forecast.

This role is part of a supportive team environment, paid a competitive salary with a generous commission structure plus a company vehicle allowance.

About You

You will have experience solutions selling and account management - ideally in the promotional apparel industry but that is not essential. The main thing is attitude and relationship skills alongside credible solution selling skill set and the ability to adapt and communicate effectively with a wide range of customers.

As this business is in growth mode with critical processes in place, the right fit for this role is someone who is OK with ambiguity and to take the initiative to work things out with the support of the wider team.

You will be a team player, have excellent service levels and project management experience You are also comfortable with contracts and negotiating deals.

Great if you have used Salesforce before

You will have the ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with strategic decision makers from CEOs to Head of Marketing/Procurement.

You will have excellent project management skills and attention to detail and be able to interpret and predict data for forecast reasons. You will be comfortable managing contracts, onboarding and contract renewal along with ongoing quoting and negotiations

This role requires travel, mainly around Auckland so you will be comfortable with that as well
