Our client was established over 120 years ago and continues to provide care within the community to support overburdened hospitals, across the Canterbury, Nelson, Marlborough and Wellington regions.

They are seeking a Stock Control Officer who has extensive stores experience and who is looking for a permanent part time job opportunity.

Monday to Friday 9am-2.30pm (hours are flexible - 25hrs per week)

Duties include

Provide administration support

Process invoices and packing slips

Negotiate with suppliers to ensure best value for money

Ordering PPE/office products as required

Assisting with purchasing enquires

The successful applicant will have

Minimum of 12 months purchasing experience

Full clean class 1 Drivers Licence & own reliable transport

Good computer skills

Strong organisational skills

Friendly and approachable

Ability to work within a team and provide strong customer service
