Job Description:


This client is a wholly New Zealand owned business who have extensive experience in the joinery industry. They have been established for decades and pride themselves on their quality product range. This company is ever growing and they are looking for an experienced and proven Estimator to join their fantastic team. This Estimator role is responsible for assisting in estimating costs and working alongside the sales and supply chain team to set prices and quoting projects.


Pricing, measuring and estimating a number of different jobs - ranging from low to high level budgets

Internal and external stakeholder engagement which include clients, project managers, suppliers and internal staff members across the organisation.

Preparation and presentation of all relevant documentation and contracts.

Ensuring that all key deliverable and time lines are being adhered to.

Negotiating with suppliers and other key stakeholders.


Previous experience in an Estimating or similar position, within the Residential and/or Commercial construction or Joinery industries.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbally

High attention to detail is a must

Knowledge dealing with standard NZ construction contracts.

Strong problem solver who is able to work in the grey

To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in estimating and working in complex environments. You will also be required to drive continuous improvement within the business.
