Due to exciting growth, we are seeking a Candidate Manager to join a dynamic and successful team in Auckland Central on an initial 6-month basis, with opportunity for long-term progression following. This is an exciting role to begin a career within the fast-paced, vibrant environment of recruitment, where you will be supported by a knowledgeable team and comprehensive training.

About you

We are looking for a proactive, organised individual to join our successful and positive recruitment team. The ability to work at pace and build a range of extensive relationships will be crucial to your success. You will be motivated to take ownership of your work and be satisfied by seeing the resulting positive outcomes. This role is for a driven multi-tasker who always has time to put their customers first and hunger to deliver results. You don’t need to have a background in HR or recruitment, but a passion for people and teamwork is a must!

The team recruit across a variety of industries and work on exciting projects across the business, meaning it’s the perfect role for someone wanting broad exposure to the recruitment sector. The success of the team and its reputation is down to the internal dynamic, collaboration, and communication. You will play an integral part as you source, find, and build relationships with suitable candidates. Bring your character to your role and build your brand in the market.

Day to day you will be

Building relationships with candidates, advising candidates throughout the recruitment process

Providing administration and document management support, loading adverts, putting together candidate profiles – managing and updating our candidate CRM

Using specialised recruitment tools to uncover passive candidates – and talking to our active candidates about assignments and roles

Helping to manage our candidates while they are out on assignment for us, and those we are working with to find a role

Facilitating interviews, meetings, testing and completing reference checks

The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, great people skills and a drive to build a career in the recruitment industry. You will work collaboratively and be motivated by working in a trusted environment.
