About the Role

Reporting into the experienced and highly passionate Director, this role is ultimately responsible for driving revenue through the SME and Corporate channels.

New products and services are being developed to further enhance the Ecotricity point of difference and the target market tends to be focused on organisations that have a passion to become more sustainable.

Developing networks, both internally and externally, will be second nature to you – bringing together the best of this business is key to exceeding customer expectations. In this role you will attend ESG events to build networks and relationships with passionate and like-minded sustainable people.

New business development through the Corporate channel, in particular, will be a key responsibility to ensure business targets are met. You will be responsible for strategy and engagement, closing sales and relationship management to a senior level.

This role is supported by the Corporate Support Team and will liaise with the Pricing and Marketing Team for specific customers needing bespoke pitches or marketing collateral.

We are looking for someone with a strong customer focus (hunter and relationship builder) responsible for identifying opportunities that will help customers thrive.

You will have a proven track record of success in Corporate and/or SME intermediate/senior sales roles in services sector.

You will have the ability to develop, build and lead multi-fork relationships at all levels of a client’s organisation and exceed their expectations. You will be a natural hunter who is also committed to building long lasting relationships.

You will have sound commercial acumen with a passion for customer outcomes, credibly being able to talk to key customers about solutions.

Climate change legislation knowledge is preferable or a passion to learn.

Experience in CRM use (training provided) plus strong numbers and Excel skills is required.

You will be highly organised with excellent project management skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a great team.
