Role

To manage the inwards goods and storage of stock in the chiller and freezer. Ensure that stock is rotated correctly, product is well labelled and easily identified, high use stock is located within easy access, food safety procedures are followed and cleaning standards are maintained as per the Food Control Plan. To place orders with Suppliers when requested by the Operations Manager and communicate clearly with other team members.

Key Responsibilities

Pick and pack up product as per client request in a timely manner.

Put away product when delivered and ensure it is labelled and displayed correctly.

Manage the chiller & freezer space efficiently and keep clean & tidy.

Recording weights and temperature of products when received.

Place orders with Suppliers as requested by the Operations Manager and load into the Inventory system.

Report any product concerns to Operations Manager immediately.

Ensure product is rotated as a "first in first out basis".

Report any short dated product when it is delivered from the Supplier.

Answer emails & communication with suppliers as requested.

Product from Butchery is correctly labelled before being stored or dispatched.
