The Opportunity

This Regional Manager" Central position is a customer and growth centric role for the business with full P&L responsibility for the Equipment Sales & Service (ES&S) products and services in the region, and a shared accountability for design and construct projects in that region also. It covers the area from Napier down to Blenheim.

With an ever-growing client base resulting in strong business growth across many different sectors, you’ll be responsible for leading a small team working primarily with regional municipalities, as well as a broad range of commercial industrial customers. This growth role is about sales strategy implementation & execution, sales leadership, and customer delivery with a complex and thorough sales cycle.

What Skills You’ll Bring With You

You are a commercially astute sales leader with a previous background in a management role within industrial mechanical engineering or industrial chemist industries. Ideally you'd come with a background in the water filtration industry!

Significant experience in B2B sales management with mechanical / engineering / technology enabled products

A track record of successfully delivering new business growth

Effective at identifying business problems and providing appropriate solutions

Customer centric, fluent in sales, ideally experienced in working with consultants

Financially literate, ideally P&L experience, price setting and margin management

Experience in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering industries

Engineering qualification with commercial experience preferable.

You will also have the ability to identify opportunities, build rapport, gain trust quickly and go the extra mile for your customers.

You will have strong organisational and time management skills, can analyse and problem solve, work to a high level of integrity and you are highly self-motivated and driven.
