The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, passionate Senior Sales/Account Manager to join my client’s security sales team in this newly created role. This role is a split between 70% sales and 30% technical/IT focussed. You will be responsible for supporting the company’s security dealer network, providing specialist technical pre- and post-sales support, training and project management. This role looks after the whole NZ territory and can be based out of Auckland, Christchurch, or Wellington, however you will be required to do some domestic travel involving overnight absences is required (approx. 5-6 times per month).

In order to be considered for this role you will have a strong work ethic, be highly motivated and results driven. Your technical knowledge and passion for building strong relationships, overseeing product sell-through, and being an expert in your field will help the company to increase product visibility and create that edge over their competitors.
As a preferred candidate you will have
Proven B2B sales experience
Experience with tenders
Solid technical knowledge and troubleshooting experience
Security / CCTV industry or IT reseller experience is advantageous
Business qualification in business and/or marketing an advantage
Ability to work autonomously but actively as part of the larger team
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential
Enthusiasm about the product and to learn

Proven time management and organisational skills
