Our client is a third-generation family-owned group who are wholesalers of a vast array of premium quality textiles and market leaders in this space.
Through the years, they have tirelessly forged a strong bond with the Pacific Islands, positioning themselves as one of the largest and most trusted textiles wholesalers throughout the Pacific region.
Based in the heart of West Auckland, they now supply and ship textiles to a large number of Pacific Island destinations as well as across New Zealand.
The group is going through a period of distinct and very positive expansion and as such they are looking to hire a top-class Finance Manager in a newly created role to manage the group’s finance function.
The role is broad and initially will be end-to-end, covering all facets of financial and management reporting, performance reporting & analysis for the leadership team, treasury, tax, payroll, AP, AR and billing. Involvement in managing the property portfolio as well as assisting with M & A when required add further diversity.
We are looking for someone who will add considerable value to the group. Someone who can tell the story of the numbers, give more insight to the wider management team on new and existing businesses and products whilst ensuring all the financial reporting is top-notch.
You will be an experienced Finance Manager/Controller and will have a relevant professional accounting qualification. The ability to be able to influence and oversee the continued growth and development of the business at this exciting time is key as well as having the ability to relate to the wider business and customer base in the Pacific community. Experience in dealing with stock/inventory is also essential.
