About the Company

Dunedin based and NZX-listed, BLIS Technologies Limited is a biotechnology company that manufactures and markets a suite of probiotics for ENT health, immunity, dental health, and skin health. They are the developers of the world’s first advanced oral probiotics.

They currently have three sites in Dunedin - office, laboratory, and manufacturing plant. BLIS Technologies have seen great success building on the momentum of recent years to deliver on its financial objective of sustained profitable growth.

With their eyes firmly set on accelerating growth this financial year, they also have new international growth opportunities including Canada, USA and China cross border e-commerce.

About the Role

BLIS are looking for an experienced sales lead for their health supplements distributed in the pharmacy and health-store channel in New Zealand and Canada to contribute to the overall company’s sales objectives. This is a newly created role that has been established to sustain and drive the massive growth for BLIS across NZ and Canada. You wil manage the head office relationships with Green Cross Health and Chemist Warehouse for the NZ market and the third-party agency for the in-market and field execution. The objective in the Canadian market is to manage, drive and support the in-market distributor and sales agency. You will use your creativity and thorough knowledge of the pharmacy industry and sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth by developing and implementing effective sales and trade marketing strategies and working closely with the internal marketing team.

About You

Ideally, you will come from the health or pharmacy sales industry within a Key or National Account Manager role. Prior experience and understanding of working with Green Cross Health and Chemist Warehouse will be highly relevant for the successful candidate. Outside of Pharmacy KAM experience you may come from an FMCG National Account Manager role and be open moving to an innovative business and role that focusses on NZ, but also the Canadian pharmacy channels.
