About the Role
This role is a key member of the Management Team. You will hold the overall responsibility for all Consumer Brands Sales & Operations Planning, covering end to end planning including Demand, Supply, Purchasing, Production Planning and Logistics.
You will lead and develop a team of end-to-end planners that are responsible for the short- and long-term demand planning, supply network planning, material and finished goods purchasing, production planning and the efficient management of logistics (goods in transit).
You will look to deliver high levels of customer service through, optimising planning activities, improving operational efficiencies and driving supplier negotiations. You will own the internal weekly and monthly processes ensuring whole business planning connectivity - working with the functions involved to fully integrate business planning activities.
About You
You’ll probably have come up through planning or had significant time in a variety of planning roles, and preferably have worked in and led a well-established S&OP/IBP team.
A high level of experience in Sales & Operations leadership or functional management
Relevant S&OP qualification (i.e., NZPICS or equivalent)
Hands on experience in multiple planning functions, demand, supply planning, logistics, production scheduling
Experience in global supplier relationships along with global purchasing and logistical background
Implementation learnings of S&OP process implementation and organisational change through S&OP maturation
Outstanding stake holder management and ability to take organisation on transformational journey
Experience with food manufacturing planning processes and requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Intermediate or above skills with Microsoft office suite of products, especially a high proficiency with Excel along with a high level of maths capability.
Project management experience advantageous
