A key position has become available for an experienced, delivery-orientated, project management professional to play an instrumental role in an ANZ-wide digital transformation programme. This role can be based in the Auckland Head Office or could be conducted remotely, or elsewhere in New Zealand.

The role will be a key member of the Retail Operations Excellence Agile ‘Pathway to Stores’ Squad and will be instrumental to the delivery for key digital projects across ANZ

The role will work in alignment and in partnership with Intelligent Store Operations Team to execute, operationalize and ensure the successful delivery of the New Zealand and Australia Work Force Management programs and any strategic digital transformation projects into our retail convenience business

Responsible for supporting retail operations through the development and maintenance of operational support tools, ensuring that initiatives are delivered in a safe, sustainable and customer-focused manner, and that processes, programs and policies are in place to drive excellence and reduce risk

Work closely with Operations Excellence squad members to test ideas, break down the activities and support the execution of the work across the squad

Maintain & develop new operational tools with a focus on making our stores’ team jobs easier and finding ways to create operational efficiencies

Work in agile approach, contributing to agile ceremonies, standups, planning and retrospectives, calling out impediments and gaining support to enable execution to timelines through best practice agile methodologies

We would be very keen to hear from candidates who have operated previously in similar roles, with experience of implementing digital programmes of scale and project delivery. You will have previous experience in agile methodologies or project management and have a strong ability to demonstrate initiative and planning. Experience within a retail business or large organisation with a diverse property portfolio would be well regarded.

You’ll require an open mindset for new ways of working, ability to adapt, being curious, challenge status quo, focus delivery on value and prioritization. The role will be high-touch with employees across the region and will therefore require a strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills.
