As part of this vision, they are seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join them on their journey to best Practice Purchasing and lead a project to achieve significant gains and optimisation.

The opportunity – 12-month fixed-term contract

You will lead a project committed to lifting the bar across the performance of purchasing.

The systems and technology are in place. You will work with the GM and stakeholders across the business to ensure that procurement is delivering best value and providing robust commercial and operational support.

Initially, you will carry out an audit and review of the present state and work with the GM to come up with a plan to achieve Best Practice performance.

Working across a multi-site professional services environment, you will work with a multitude of stakeholders and deliver measurable gains across supplier review and performance, systems, processes, policies, procedures, contracts, and provide coaching and support.

What’s in it for you

An experienced Purchasing Specialist (ideally) with a tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or an NZPICS or CIPS member you will have experience working in a Continuous Improvement environment and be capable of driving improvements across people, systems, processes and performance. Your demonstrable communication and innovative problem-solving skills will ensure your success in a complex and challenging role.
