Job Description:
Our client is a leading distribution firm based in the west area of Christchurch. The client primarily takes care of the distribution and pick packing of orders for a large retail company. We are looking for reliable and hard-working individuals to join their team as they head into their peak season.
This role is based outside a busy warehouse helping to unload large containers with a high volume of stock. The position is very physical and will require you to be on your feet for long hours and heavy lifting will also be involved as the stock varies in weight and size.
Hours of work are day shifts Monday through Friday with Saturday work available too. 50 hours +.
Option for 4 days a week work too
To be successful you will show
Previous experience in warehousing & devanning ideally.
Physically fit.
Repeated lifting up to 20kg.
High accuracy and attention detail.
Ability to work with high volume and work under pressure.
Ideally you will
Have an ability to understand instructions and directions.
Have an interest in warehousing/logistics environment
Show reliability and good communication.
Work well in a team environment.

$21.50 per hour starting rate
