About the role

This primary purpose of this role is to plan and order products for a small portfolio in the business.

This Planning & Purchasing Co-ordinator will see you having category management of a small category and inventory management responsibility for a portfolio of products.

You will be responsible for approximately 20 SKUs across 5 suppliers and you will work to ensure that the right product is available at the right time, with the right quantity.

Planning will include forecasting of base demand as well as working with Marketing to forecast the demand of products required.

You will work closely with the logistics team and will be responsible for developing a reporting framework for the operational and financial metrics relating to the planning, purchasing and inventory management functions.

About you

You will likely be degree-qualified in Operations or Supply Chain Management and have some practical experience in supply chain ideally, in an FMCG or retail environment. You will bring enthusiasm and energy and the ability to build and develop effective and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience on SAP would be favourable.

You will be equally as comfortable dealing with high volume transactions and carrying out reporting, analytical and planning activities. With a good eye for detail, you will be solutions-focused and eager to learn and develop.
