About the Company

This company has an awesome opportunity to join a close knit payroll team whilst they move over to a new system. Starting as soon as possible and working through a 6-8 month fixed term contract. They’re currently based in Mairangi bay with a move to Takapuna on the cards at the beginning of August.

About the Role

We are really needing a tech savvy, excel whizz to support the team whilst they move from their current payroll systems over to a new one. This role requires you to move through the team dependant on who is needing more support

Deliver payroll functions for assigned employee groups.

Investigate, resolve and answer payroll related queries from internal

and external customers, acting as first point of contact.

Assist with administrative functions, including preparation of routine

reports, including PAYE, Labour Spend, Union Membership and

Training.

Follow up with restaurant employee parental leave applications and

return to work dates as required.

Update and maintain employee records.

Ensure your customers receive timely and professional service.

About You

Ideally you will have

2 years’ experience in a payroll related role

Intermediate excel knowledge

A great understanding of payroll systems, and the ability to pick new systems up well

A great understanding of payroll systems, and the ability to pick new systems up well

Adaptable in a team environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
