Medical Receptionist

My client is based in Remuera, and they are looking for a bubbly and customer-focused Receptionist! This is a permanent full-time role. This role will be Monday- Friday and 40 hours a week. The successful candidate will ideally start in January.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a can-do attitude and is a quick learner, you do not specifically need to have a medical background but just strong customer service and administration skills as you will be customer-facing! If you have a Medical background even better!

As a Receptionist, some of your key areas of responsibility will include

Making bookings and greeting clients as they come in

General running of the office - answering phones/emails/ making appointments

Ensure all customer/public areas are kept tidy and meeting rooms are ready for use

Update and maintain company staff and phone list

Cash Handling and recording daily

Ensuring patient files are up to date and complete/ accurate entry of patient data

Invoicing patients and processing claims and insurance

Managing and ordering stationery and booking couriers

Administration processes are up to date and accurate

As our ideal candidate you will demonstrate

Previous experience in a customer service role or Medical reception role

Well organised and is bubbly and has a great attitude

A multi-tasker who is quick to learn systems and processes

Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office as a minimum

Strong attention to detail

Able to work well under pressure and with professionalism.

Able to work well under pressure and with professionalism.

Can pick up systems fast, and can work with a computer confidently

Excellent communication skills
