Wildeye is an established and fast-growing New Zealand-owned technology company with customers all around the world. Their products and team are making a global impact on sustainable water use.

To support the ongoing growth of the business they are looking to hire a Financial Controller

who will manage all financials for the business, including subsidiaries in Australia and California, and be an integral part of the senior management team.

Based out of their easily accessible new offices in Parnell and reporting to the CEO, the responsibilities will include

Managing a team of 4 people

Financial reporting for all entities within the Wildeye Group (NZ, Australia, US and Canada)

Providing analysis and commentary to financial and management reports and working with senior management to understand and evaluate this information

Tax and statutory compliance filing for all entities

Budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting

Ensuring controls are strictly adhered to (a major point for a growing business!)

Management of all intercompany transactions

Managing all AP and AR functions as well as all bank accounts

Managing payroll as well as assisting with HR matters

Assisting with potential capital raisings and managing Grant payments and relationships

Managing all insurance policies

Providing leadership, guidance and coaching to the finance team

Continuous improvement in systems and processes to ensure they are scalable with the business growth This is a great Financial Controller role with significant career growth opportunities to match the business growth. We’re anticipating a high level of interest given the scope of the role, the growth profile and the importance of the industry and are looking to hire someone who can make a significant contribution to the group as part of the senior management team.

You will naturally be a Qualified Accountant and have a track record of achievement in financial leadership roles. Experience in a multi-national, multi-currency dynamic growth business is ideal.

Any experience of working in manufacturing and/or SaaS businesses would be great too.
