THE ROLE
The focus of the role is to develop components of Embedded Linux for bespoke ARM based hardware platforms, including the deployment of bespoke Linux distributions for high-end embedded systems.
You’ll have ample opportunity to showcase your C++ and C wizardry, along with a variety of scripting languages in your repertoire, while also contributing towards the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in developing for Linux OS, preferably on embedded systems
Strong C/C++ and Bash/ash shell scripting experience
Strong experience of low-level kernel debugging
An understanding of electronic hardware design
Experience with developing software for Embedded Systems
Experience with QT or other similar application framework, and
A passion for the marine industry, marine electronics, and your craft.
