This newly created position covers diverse HR areas including H&S, ER, recruitment, OD, compensation, HRIS, retention. Most importantly, this role plays a big part in developing initiatives to support and enhance the culture and values of the organisation.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing, administering, and in some cases designing

HR plans and procedures across the business

H&S policies and practices

Training and development for a range of roles

Engagement initiatives

Compensation and benefits programme

Other duties will include

Providing expertise on complex issues including ER, performance management, personal grievances, and mediation

Overseeing the recruitment and selection process, and related functions

HR reporting and metrics

Based in Grafton this is a full-time, permanent position with a robust culture of flexible working.

Ideally you will have

Proven operational experience in generalist HR

Current knowledge of New Zealand legislation around Health & Safety and Human Resources

Strong systems and database management skills

Strong systems and database management skills

Great communication, both written and verbal
