About the Role

This awesome role reports into the experienced Brand Director while managing 6 direct reports (including Graphic Designers, Video Editor, Community Manager)

This role is responsible to execute the global integrated market strategy across multiple channels ensuring international activations, campaigns and brand strategy is clearly communicated across the business.

This role will manage the annual global marketing calendar of TTL campaigns with a focus on marketing brand strategy and comms plus the digital strategy, development and execution, all while leading a fantastic team to get you there.

This role works with the Brand Director on the strategy and then create the content (stills/video) as TTL assets that are presented to the business and resellers/distributors, so B2B to C and soon B2C.

These campaign elements are then implemented by the global markets. This role is tasked to ensure international activations, campaigns and brand strategy is clearly communicated across the business, working closely with the European based sales and marketing teams

It is a great role. There is also some international travel when travel restrictions ease!! Given the global nature of this role as you’d expect at times mornings/evenings will need to be available for meetings

As you’d expect this senior level role requires a high level of stakeholder management and collaboration both internally and externally as well as leadership skills managing direct reports. Working with publishers, managing events, working with the production team and professional board riders – this role is diverse and requires excellent influencing and communication skills along with a strong creative eye and understanding of the creative process.

About You

First and foremost, you will have a passion for water sports or the sports sector. This business is filled with adventure seekers! Great if you have worked in this sector but that isn’t essential – your love for sports is!

Ideally you will have both marketing and agency account management experience – given the, project management, creative planning/execution and stakeholder management that this role requires.

You will also have proven experience managing a junior team. You will be a leader versus a manager inspiring your team to perform to the best of their abilities

You will have several years intermediate/senior agency/marketing experience working in a fast-paced high performing services/retail environment. Working collaboratively with teams and agencies with strong project management, analytical, creative, attention to detail and relationship management skills.

You will be strategic and commercial with proven experience leading the creative process and rolling out TTL campaigns. The brand should be the heart of everything you do.

Bonus if you have worked on an eCommerce platform also.

Creative and customer centric of course you will also love using data to create actional commercial insights ultimately driving commercial performance of this company’s products.

Naturally you will have built solid relationship and worked in partnership with agencies, production, events and talent to help you fulfil your planning and delivery of successful marketing campaigns.
