They operate in a challenging and rapidly changing food and beverage sector where it is essential that the business continues to develop leading manufacturing, engineering and site services strategies.
As an essential member of the New Zealand Operations and Supply Chain leadership team, we are seeking a widely experienced Operations leader who will bring a new level of strategic capability to the business, utilising ideally proven multi-site operations success.
The business proves everyday its capability in high volume food manufacturing and supply chain.
Without doubt the last 2 years have tested its people and processes but has also confirmed the potential it has to build and continue to grow for the future.
With the support of its high-profile parent there are real growth opportunities for the business in New Zealand and Internationally. For the new Head of Operations this creates an opportunity to be recognised for enabling and ensuring the NZ manufacturing operations deliver against business and operational strategies to underpin future success.
To be successful in this position we seek the following
Leadership in transformational change and continuous improvement across all KPI’s (inclusive of Safety / People / Quality / Cost / Efficiency / Delivery) for Manufacturing.
A purposeful, consultative leader who enjoys communicating strategy, mentoring and supporting others
The development of Manufacturing and Engineering towards World Class standards utilising lean manufacturing concepts, supported by the Operations Excellence team
Demonstrated functional excellence in operations/plant management within multi-line, multi production site, food manufacturing environments.
A strong track record of empowering and improving others through regular coaching and development
The ability to develop positive working relationships with stakeholders and customers.
Strong communicator with a collaborative working style. You are a genuine team player.
