The business owners are actively involved in the business and the team place a huge amount of care in doing the best job possible for their clients. An opportunity has become available to join the business as their new Distribution Manager to lead all distribution activities of their products across NZ based on the North Shore.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this will initially be a role with one other team member and based at their warehouse just down the road from their Head Office. The key functions of the role will be managing inwards of their imports and day to day distribution of goods out to their customers nationwide. There are also a number of promotional products going out for events so managing returns of receipting back to stock will be another aspect of the role. Overseeing the site and courier relationships will also be a key part of the role.

This is a role and opportunity which is a little unique and we are looking for someone who is motivated to go on a journey with the company. Initially you will be somewhat independent in your work day however the business is expanding their operations with a new Head Office and DC on the cards which will involve the opportunity for you to establish this warehouse and build a team around you. This may be a 12-18 month period however there will be some very exciting aspects of the role which you will be able to build on.
