Director Shine FV Education Services
About the Company
Presbyterian Support Northern has a vision of ‘A better life for everyone’ and Shine is a leading specialist family violence service provider. The services include crisis intervention, safe houses and children impacted by family violence. The Shine FV Education Services Team provides a range of highly regarded education-related services: from DVFREE – a consultancy, training and ‘tick’ accreditation for businesses (including public service organisations and some major banks and insurers), to fees for service or government-funded family violence-specific education for professionals and those in the community who may encounter people who are experiencing, at risk of, or using, family violence.
This role reports directly to the Chief Executive but is not on the PSN Leadership Team. It has a team of around 10 staff and leads the strategic development of the Shine Family Violence (FV) Education Services, including the design of new programmes/services – both for fee paying and social change initiatives.
The successful candidate for the role will have a sound track record in business / commercial development but be able to relate these skills successfully into the social enterprise space. The current mix of services have an education and advisory related set of commercial and education services. We are looking for a leader who is able to develop opportunities, be creative, and form commercial partnerships to generate revenue for the service delivery of Shine. We are looking for a leader who can easily collaborate with peers across the organisation so everyone’s efforts are complementary and is great with staff. The role allows considerable delegation to develop initiatives under the Chief Executive, but not in a silo manner.
Please note that the Chief Executive retains the right to bring a particularly strong candidate through to Panel interview more quickly.
