About the Role
This role will have overall responsibility for the full life / cycle of developments / redevelopments. From planning, design and delivery, ensuring time, quality, cost and compliance targets are met.
The complete development process from new developments/redevelopments and site identification through to completion of the build.
Creating tender documents, works brief, business cases, consents and proposals and support in relation to the contract.
Ensure good working relationships with other developers, contractors and other on-site workers
You will also work closely with stakeholders as well as appointing and directing consultants, liaising and forging business relationships with private sector development partners.
Evaluate risk to make recommendations to reject commercially unattractive opportunities
Negotiate contractual and financial terms and conditions with clients/suppliers/consultants
Build relationships internally and externally to achieve best outcomes for the project
You will have demonstrated full life cycle experience with a minimum of one high rise residential property delivered in past 5 years.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of residential development construction phases
Proven commercial management and feasibility analysis experience on residential projects
Highly skilled in construction management
Thorough understanding of residential building codes and council consent process
