A highly successful NZ-owned industrial & construction business who is truly one of the market leaders in their field.
The business is dedicated to providing leading products to their respective markets and has an established reputation for quality service with a distribution reach across NZ.
Dedicated to Continuous Improvement, the business is continuing significant investment in their Supply Chain capability. As part of this vision, they are seeking an experienced Demand & Supply Planner to join the team and join them on their journey to Best Practice Supply Chain.
Reporting to the S&OP Manager, you will take responsibility for end-to-end demand & supply planning of their key category range across the business.
Critical to the role will be your analytical, forecasting, planning and S&OP/demand management skills. You will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders and your demonstrable relationship management, communication and influencing skills will ensure your success in building and maintaining positive working relationships. The environment is fast-paced and you will be required to work accurately at speed.
In addition to the business as usual aspect of your role, you will have the opportunity to work on projects and initiatives to improve ERP systems, processes and the way that the business manages supply chain performance and be the integral link with all key internal stakeholders. They have recently implemented a new planning system called Netstock which will link to their current ERP system.

You will need a high level of attention to detail and intermediate to advanced Excel skills will certainly be an advantage to ensuring success in this role. An academic background in supply chain or APICS will be very highly regarded too.
