About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join their Information Technology team. The IT team assists in enabling the business by providing technology systems and services. You will lead the team by delivering technology solutions through projects, implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments. You will need excellent planning skills and the gravitas to own process and deal with key stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

Engage and work with staff across multiple business units to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Gather, analyse and manage user requirements that can be used by the IT team to recommend technology solutions to the business

Support and coach the more junior members of the team

Provide assistance to testers to develop and execute test plans and scripts

Collaborate with solution architects to assist in the definition and delivery of solutions to meet the needs of the business

Support project managers to deliver projects in a timely manner and where required help in the project management of small projects.

Be the conduit between the business users and the technology team.

Provide accurate and detailed documentation of business requirements About You

Proven ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information, and to effectively analyse and document complex business processes.

Experienced in understanding project methodologies and project lifecycle

Experienced in understanding project methodologies and project lifecycle

Experience in Financial Services or Investment Management is a bonus

Ability to work to deadlines and communicate effectively when roadblocks occur

Be self-sufficient and have excellent planning skills to manage multiple tasks

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - you’ll be comfortable working with all levels within the business and with external stakeholders.
