About the Company
Ever wondered what it would be like to work for a company with real passion, to have a role with purpose and a true opportunity to make a difference? Scroll on…
Les Mills is an iconic Kiwi company, dedicated to their purpose of ‘making humans fit for life’. They have been around for more than 50 years, changing the way people see fitness, and they are always on the lookout for passionate professionals. Right now, they need a standout Head of Finance to drive the financial strategy for their national property and club businesses.
About the Role
Reporting to the CEO of Les Mills New Zealand and the CEO of Les Mills Property, you will be working as part of the Senior Leadership Team whose aim is to deliver outstanding direction and service their 12 clubs around the country, and ultimately their 55,000+ members. Additionally, you, along with the CEO of Property, will assume the financial and commercial responsibilities for the significant property portfolio that underpins the gym business. This role comes with high expectations. As well as driving strategy you’ll be responsible for leading and managing the finance function to deliver. You’ll also be a highly skilled financial and commercial communicator, with a forward-looking approach.
Already an experience and inspirational financial leader you will likely have plied your trade in a consumer led sector and had experience with a significant property portfolio. Commercially savvy, your recommendations will be supported by insightful analysis, and you will have gravitas to quickly gain the confidence of the Board and Executive team. While this is a strategic role you will still need to roll up the sleeves and lead by example particularly with business cases and modelling. Valuation experience is highly desirable. A genuine passion for fitness and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle goes without saying.
This role is full-time, requires boundless energy and is not for the faint hearted. In return you can be assured of a fun, flexible and hardworking culture, where they support each other to deliver world-class results.
