Key Expectations
Undertake day-to-day accounting tasks using Xero or MYOB as applicable to maintain client accounts
Prepare management reports, financial statements and other reports for clients or company management
Prepare workpapers to support financial statements, management and other reports
Develop, forecast and check budgets
Prepare goods and services tax (GST) and other returns, such as surveys, pay as you earn (PAYE), fringe benefit tax (FBT), resident withholding tax, (RWT) and other tax forms
Advise on financial aspects of businesses such as budgets, tax and cashflow
Review accounting procedures and analyse the financial performance of businesses Description of Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from a New Zealand university
Midway with post university qualifications (CA/CPA) or about to embark on their studies as this firm would be keen to support continuous professional development!
Solid working experience in Xero and MYOB applications
Proven experience with minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a NZ professional services firm.
Exceptional written and spoken communication skills. Intrigued to learn more?
