About the Company

Lewis Road Creamery is a leading premium dairy brand in New Zealand and is a highly innovative growth business. Its fast growth has come from an aggressive consumer led innovation plan in the New Zealand market and has a reputation for innovation, quality, sustainability, and speed. A Brand Manager position has become available and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Brand Manager to further their FMCG marketing career. About the Role

Reporting through to the Marketing Director you will be the brand champion for Lewis Road Creamery and the entire range of the Southern Pastures portfolio. You will be part of a team that consistently challenges through innovation and marketing within the dairy landscape in New Zealand and abroad. You will assist in providing support with building marketing plans to drive penetration and will deliver on the new product development pipeline based on company initiatives. The creative and comms will be done in house, so there is a need for experience developing content, copy writing and working on campaigns across social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter & Tik Tok.

You will work together with the NPD Manager, Sales Manager, Commercial Director and Operations Director for NPD planning and responsibilities include

Keeping abreast of timelines for artwork, printing, and labelling. Knowledge of allergens claims, ingredient listing and marketing claims etc.

Timeframes highlighted for when product concept samples are needed for retailer presentations.

Work closely with external partners on innovation projects.

Coordinate with the Trade Marketing Manager for activating trade marketing

Copy writing ability is a necessity. You will assist with company profiles, marketing brochures, copy and product campaigns.

This person will be across a large proportion of the New Zealand range.

About You

You will have current FMCG Brand Manager experience from a food or beverage business, with clear examples of new product development. You will be looking to for a role that is broad and dynamic and will have the drive and ambition to grow with the business. As the company continues to grow, the successful candidate will be expected to take more responsibility within the marketing and brand function. You will have a great attention to detail and have a high level of understanding around category and consumer insights.
