We are seeking a switched on, resilient professional for an exciting opportunity within a Government organization based in Johnsonville, Wellington.This is a great chance to further your skills in a reactive, technical environment whilst supporting the NZ public far and wide.

About this role

initially a 4 month contract

Rotating roster between 6am - 10pm, Monday - Sunday, 6 days on/3 days off.

$26ph + 8% holiday pay

4 months temporary assignment with a possibility to extend

ASAP start

In this role you will be responsible for

Reacting to alerts and requests relating to traffic signalling

Identifying problems, opportunities and implementing solutions using surveillance and inhouse management software

Using the latest technology to track real-time events

Liaising with various agencies to ensure correct signalling and safety of the NZ public

Are you someone who...Is tech-savvy, process driven, a natural problem solver

Has a varied background of experience in operations and working in a technical environment, using multiple systems

Enjoys a challenge and learning new skills, with a keen eye for detail

Can effectively manage their own workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Is confident working independently, as well as part of a wider team

Has a CLEAN, FULL, NZ Drivers Licence (or equivalent)
