Job Description:

We currently have a great opportunity overseeing the accuracy and integrity of a large ongoing government project based in the Wellington CBD on a 6 Month contract with an immediate start desired (but not essential). This role will give you the opportunity to overlook agreements and records of a large ongoing government project while establishing processes and building relationships with key internal and external teams.

You will be a proven CA with solid experience of advising, working strategically and applying critical thinking within a complex organisation, while providing financial support to managers at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Investment & Finance teams, Investment Advisors and Project Managers/Coordinators to ensure projects are set up properly.

Liaise with Investment & Finance teams, Investment Advisors and other teams to clarify requirements while ensuring compliance throughout.

Develop and implement processes for confirmation of actuals, accruals, budget and forecast, commentary for monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Develop and document completion requirements and processes as per funding agreements.

Participate and contribute through transformation by thinking, acting and advocating the change

Key Requirements

CA Qualification or Equivalent.

5+ years relevant experience in a large organisation.

Proven ability to build and maintain trusted, respectful and constructive relationships

Experience in Management/Financial Accounting.
