About the Company

This centrally located organisation is one of the largest in the Wellington region. We have a wide spread geographically and in terms of service to support our community. Our specialist team extends to, neurosurgery, oncology, neonatal and community based services.

About the role

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Professional (with an OT, Social Work, or Mental Health Nursing background). We would like you to support us across a range of clinical settings that you have had experience across and in return we will commit to developing you further. Our team strives for quality of care and a patient centred approach.

What you will need to be successful in this role

Strong communication skills and empathy for your clients’ and their families

Proven clinical experience demonstrating your capabilities

Relationship building: working amongst a MDT

Responsibilities include

Assessment and treatment plans derived from evidence based plans

Responsive to the Clinical Coordinator when support is required

Documentation of all clinical notes and nursing activities

Psychiatric Assessment, risk management plans and communicating treatment needs

Liaising with external agencies for treatment plans of our clients

Talking Therapies with our service users

To be successful in this role

You will have a Post Graduate Certificate in Mental Health

Ideally 2 years of work experience in a role mentioned above

Ability to communicate with a wide range of people, whilst remaining culturally sensitive
