This role would give you the opportunity to play a key part in the financial management of a portfolio within the departments largest contracts, working across interesting and varied projects, whilst engaging with a range of different stakeholders within the organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation of in-depth financial analysis and explanation, defining how this links to non-financial comparatives.
Assist Business Partners and monitor progress in relation to longer term performance improvement.
Align the budget process and seek opportunities to refine processes where necessary.
Financial management of contract close-out, extension or renewal as appropriate.
Produce and analyse progress reports, updated costs and forecasts.
Prepare monthly performance reports, providing analysis of capital and operating variances, trends, non-financial performance, cost drivers, risks and forecasts, whilst ensuring that these are also future focussed.
CA qualified or equivalent
4+ year relevant experience in an accounting role with proven management accounting experience
Strong excel skills
