About the company
This business is a true innovator in their domain providing world leading services that benefit everyone across New Zealand. They are a well-known Kiwi business with a fantastic pedigree who are now looking for an Integration Developer (mid - senior level) to join Integration Team to help further enhance their already advanced, pioneering customer offerings and services.
The Role
Working as part of a well organised, highly agile integrations team, you will develop integration microservices and API’s mainly using Java 8 and Spring Boot. You will work closely with Integration Architects and Technical Leads to agreed design and development of solutions following best practice and standards. You will work on interesting and challenging projects in accordance with the business road map and goals, the business also has regular fresh, Greenfield projects.
Skills / Experience
Strong Java 8 development experience
Knowledge of Spring Boot
Familiar working within a microservices environment
Experience with Apache Camel & Kafka is highly beneficial.
Experience working with API management (beneficial)Experienced working on enterprise level systems/software
A self-starter who is experienced working in a fast-paced, agile environment
Outgoing personality who is super passionate about helping others and has an opinion
Polished communication / interpersonal skills

Salary up to $110,000 plus a great, supportive benefits package. This business also has a high performing culture and agile is at the centre of everything that they do. The Integration team works in a flexible manner reflecting the diversity of the work at hands. The team is flexible in which hours people are in the office, though it is desirable to be around in the core hours (10am - 3pm) to allow for discussions and collaboration with the team members.
