Job Description:

This role is working for a fantastic not for profit organisation surrounded by a supportive and technically strong team. This is a great opportunity offering vast exposure across the business where you will make a direct and visible impact whilst contributing to the fundamental cause of this superb charity.

Working as part of a diverse and high performing finance team, this role will allow you to really add value through partnering with non-financial stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. Key responsibilities will include

Critically understand business results & be able to analyse and comment on both positive and negative trends

Develop & maintain costing and pricing models to support management with business cases and project analysis

Lead the budgeting and forecasting process

Process improvement from both a financial reporting and financial systems view.

Aid with the implementation and design of new financial projects

Advice and recommend any system developments to increase efficiency company wide

Other Ad hoc project based work.

The successful candidate will be a CA qualified (or equivalent) Accountant with a broad skill base across management accounting and analysis. It’s essential that you have gained exposure to the commercial sector in a fast paced and complex organisation, and experience with a large ERP is highly advantageous.

You have a strong business sense ensuring you communicate effectively with stakeholders, and you naturally look for ways to create efficiency in your work. You are a ‘big picture’ Business Partner who gains satisfaction from enabling your stakeholders to understand the numbers.
