Draftsperson/ Architectural Technician

They are continually developing the design and build process so they can deliver their clients dreams and
needs into stunning individualised building designs and then building these to the high standards they are
renowned for.
You will be joining a small close-knit team of designers, technicians, project managers, quantity surveyors and directors, all providing a wealth of experience and knowledge in the residential construction industry.

workloads as well as producing concept designs.
Skills/experienceMust have minimum of 3 years of practical work experience. You will be working on the design and build projects completing working drawings for council using ArchiCAD
Knowledge of NZS3604 and experience in the New Zealand Residential construction industry
Ability to take a concept drawing and convert it into an accurate Architectural and construction set of drawings and specifications ready for pricing, consent and construction
Comfortable liaising with Councils, Engineers, Specifiers, Builders and sub-contractors
Capable of developing the ability to produce concept drawings based on clients brief, site limitations or features

Is able to help and direct others to complete working drawings, council consents, RFI’s etc
Broad knowledge of the buildings structural components, cladding and finishing details
Knowledge of building materials, their applications and best practices
Able to use the building code to specify correct products, while considering environmental, use and installation implications
