My client provides investment administration and custodial services delivered by a dynamic and experienced team using a state-of-the-art investment accounting and administration platform. My client has developed proprietary software for investment accounting and an administration platform designed specifically for all aspects of investment management, the software has successfully been provided under license to other fund managers since it was commercialised in 2012. Fund Administration, Custody, Registry and PIE Fund compliance are provided as outsourced services.

What you will be doing?

The Custodial Services Administrator is responsible for safekeeping, transactional processing, settlements and generating reports.

Daily reconciliation of bank accounts

Daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation of all securities in safekeeping

Management of aged reconciliation items

Execution and settlement of unlisted security orders including foreign exchange

Trade match and settlement of listed securities orders

Monitoring funding requirements and bank accounts

Monitor and complete all settlements within the Adminis platform

Process dividends, interest and other income

Monitor and respond to client queries

Prepare client reportsPrepare various third party reports to meet compliance and performance reporting requirements

What are we looking for in you?

Good understanding of the financial services sector and accounting principles

Good understanding of financial products including Managed Funds, Equities, Fixed Interest and Cash products

Independent, self-directing and delivery focused – have the ability to work effectively within a team to meet targets

Independent, self-directing and delivery focused – have the ability to work effectively within a team to meet targets

Excellent organisational and administration skills, with superior attention to detail

Good computer literacy, including Excel and data entry skills, and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms

Excellent communication skills

1 year experience in Financial Services

Tertiary qualification in financial management, accounting or similar is desirable
