Job Description:

Business Analyst – SSRS & SQL

Mt. Wellington location

The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding the documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges.

This is an excellent opportunity available for a business analyst who comes from a strong data analytics background and is looking to step up in their career!

Key Skills / Experience

Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience as Business/Reporting Analyst, certification advantageous.

Experience in the Financial or Asset leasing sector ideal

Strong understanding of MS SQL Server and SSRS is a must

A solid understanding of business analysis tools and techniques with a practical approach in their application

Supporting the incorporation of system changes into business processes and reporting

Experience in reading process analysis and swim-lane documentation

Experience in Systems and Application Implementations – Data MigrationExperience in systems analysis and design methodology

Project management qualifications such as Prince 2, PMI desirable

Six Sigma or similar process improvement experience

Demonstrated ability to drive process and financial improvement initiatives
