Job Description:

A great opportunity has come up for an Audit Assistant Manager in a Big 4 environment based in Wellington Central.

This position will be responsible for managing an audit team, from workflow management, supervision, dealing with client engagements and oversight of technical audit work.

Responsibilities

Deliver high quality services by demonstrating a practical awareness of the impact of regulation and risk management on business processes and controls

Builds trust and credibility with stakeholders by seeking to understand their service levels expectations and what matters to them individually

Management and supervision of junior staff ensuring that their work adheres to the correct standards and is delivered efficiently.

Evaluates the urgency and importance of assigned tasks on a daily and/or weekly basis.

Requirements

Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a business related field.

Completed a CA Qualification or Equivalent

Minimum of two years post qualification accounting experience

Experience in Audit from another Big 4 environment, Tier 2 or Audit NZ would be desirable.
